DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY & COMMUNITY MEDICINE
“The Adolescent Summit 2025 is a regularly held event organized by the Department of Family and Community Medicine, in collaboration with its partner institution, Nick Joaquin Senior High School. It serves as a dynamic platform for learning and dialogue among young people, tackling the most relevant and pressing issues affecting today’s youth.
This year’s summit highlights the themes of Social Media, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)—critical topics that continue to shape the physical, emotional, and social well-being of adolescents. Through interactive discussions, expert-led talks, and participatory sessions, the summit seeks to raise awareness, promote informed decision-making, and inspire meaningful youth engagement in community health advocacy.”
