LIST OF PROCEDURES
- PROVISION OF COMMUNICATION SERVICES - this procedure intends to define the controls needed to establish a procedure that will provide communication linkages between hospital from the general public and within the hospital complex.
- REGISTRATION FOR ER CONSULTATION AND ADMISSION - this procedure intends to define the controls needed to establish a documented procedure for patients’ registration who seek treatment and medical evaluation as well as OB-GYN cases at Emergency Room and for patients who require to be admitted.
- VALIDATION OF IDENTIFIABLE PATIENT’S DATA - this procedure intends to define the controls needed to ensure accurate information on Hospital Information System (HIS) and to avoid incorrect data entry for patient’s Health Record in future transaction.
ADMITTING STAFF(S) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interview The Emergency Room Patient/Patient Companion to obtain good information.
- Encodes Patients’ Data in Hospital Information System.
- Issue Patient I.D. with assigned Health Record Number (HRN) to patients.
- Process Emergency Room (ER) Record.
- Process Admission and Discharge Record.
- Checks Patient Philhealth Eligibility (PBEF).
- Receives incoming calls and transfer local calls to different department concerns.
- Voice Paging.
- Process Patients Data Correction.
