MEDICAL SOCIAL SERVICE (MSS)
The organizational structure of the Medical Social Service is administered by the Director of Hospital, supported by the Assistant Director for Professional and headed by the Chief of Medical Ancillary Services. The section is composed of twelve (12) licensed medical social workers staff with one (1) Chief, two (2) Social Welfare Officer II as Supervisors, three (3) Social Welfare Officer I and five (5) hospital social workers.
ANNUAL ACTIVITIES:
18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women” a VAW-free Philippines. Every year from November 25 to December 12, the Philippines joins the world in the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW)—a nationwide movement uniting Filipinos towards ending gender-based violence and upholding women’s human rights. The Medical Social Service in partnership with other department participates this activities.

Lecture at the Out-Patient Department waiting area held last November 25, 2025, brochures and fryers were distributed as a campaign materials on how to report and the laws related to children and women
Seminar on Safe Spaces or Bawal Bastos Law held last December 3, 2025 at SB Hall attended by 100 patients who consulted at the Out-Patient Department.
